I HELP PEOPLE CHANGE THE WAY THEY THINK ABOUT FITNESS...
In the pursuit of a better, healthier life, I believe there’s hard work to be done, but that effort must be grounded in a well-informed, individualized approach. Without it, we risk facing setbacks, pain, frustration, confusion, and exhaustion—not to mention wasting time, energy, and money.
The “hard” in my approach requires an openness to let go of preconceived notions about what fitness is and who it’s for. It’s about building trust in oneself, fostering curiosity, asking questions, and practicing the patience needed to decipher the answers. Along the way, we should embrace the joy of the journey—feel all the feelings and learn to be comfortable with discomfort.
I embarked on this path because I found myself struggling like many of my clients. Sedentary living led to aches and pains, which I over-corrected by over-exercising and under-recovering, only to find myself back in the same cycle. Together, we can break that cycle and discover a more sustainable way forward.

I have been interested in better understanding the mind and body for as long as I can remember. My journey began in elementary school, where I found myself grappling with anxiety, chronic pain, and digestive issues. I often wonder how different my experiences could have been with a focus on what I was eating, how I was breathing, and how I was moving (or not moving). Instead, the approach was one-dimensional, firmly rooted in the sick-care model.
In my late 20s, I stumbled upon meditation, which laid the groundwork for working with my body instead of against it. This opened the door to a world of possibilities: strength training, yoga, cooking with real food, exploring naturopathic medicine, spending time in nature, and practicing breathwork. These modalities have taken different levels of priority as my goals and needs shift and change, but the ability to find balance and ease with food, body, mood, mindset, movement, and recovery is foundational.
I no longer live in constant fear of how my body might feel in any given situation. That fear doesn’t dictate whether I show up; instead, I do my best to embrace the journey, knowing that even during life’s inevitable lows and setbacks, I am capable of learning, growing, and evolving. I believe everyone deserves to access and believe in themselves and in the support surrounding them in this way.
I’m a firm believer that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. While there are similarities, unsexy truths, and guiding principles rooted in fact, each person’s path is unique. I don’t simply apply what’s worked for me to my clients; I work diligently and patiently alongside them to help them uncover and understand what truly works best for them.
